Slow days in Naoshima.
Naoshima is an island built for looking. The art museums hide underground, the pumpkins sit by the sea, and the ferries arrive slowly enough to watch the coast change color.
A small photo diary of an island built for looking.
Wind, light & a slow walk
I brought one camera and no plan. The best frames came between the scheduled things: a bicycle leaning on a wall, salt air on a lens, a red sign fading into grey.
Travel note: on islands like this, the light is the itinerary. Follow it, and let the map wait.
